Reports To: Sr. Manager Cash Processing / Unit Head
Job Responsibilities
As an Officer Cash Processing, you will play a vital role in MCB's Cash Processing Center (CPC). Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that cash sorting machines are used in accordance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.
- Managing the sorting and recording of cash received from the vault.
- Ensuring that closing cash and coins match the SBP cash statement and general ledger (GL).
- Maintaining accurate cash holdings within the assigned budget.
- Processing cash using machine authentication to manage excess cash holdings efficiently.
- Submitting compliance reports on time and ensuring CPC maintains a satisfactory rating.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of SBP currency management regulations.
- Understanding of branch banking and CPC operations.
- Strong knowledge of banking practices and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective team and time management skills.
